When it says "multi-language dictionary", it means: "Multi-language if you are only looking for about 10 languages." The translate has more languages to it but most people would get this app for what the title offers, a dictionary. I was very disappointed when I found out the dictionary does not offer English to Japanese. Anyways, I advise you dont waste time with this app.

This app is okay for free. You can pull from a few different online translators and it works. However the paid version of the app claims that you will get offline dictionaries, you do, but they arent useful unless you can read the language you are trying to translate. For example, Im in China right now, Ive downloaded the Dictionaries and when I type in hi or something it brings up chinese characters... This is useless to me. Furthermore, the translations arent accurate. I wanted to translate thank you and it changed it to thank you ever so much. Overall a good concept but it truly falls short. UI is in dire need of a redesign , the app is a jumbled mess visually and organization is poor. Id say youre actually better off with a pocket dictionary. Better yet if youve got an iPhone and 3G get the Google translate app and skip the offline dictionary altogether.

I bought the pro version and text to speech is not working

Offline dictionary is not free. Misleading. Translation is also online and is in small text with a lot of advertising. Not as good another apps. I deleted. But it works.

It does everything I need it to do.

I purchased the pro version for the text to speech function, it sounds like a tin can. Dont buy for this feature.

Great app. Im using French to English and English to French and I havent seen any errors yet. Much much better than google translate.

I have only used French to English so far but it was great. Only thing I would recommend adding is being able to download the dictionary for offline support. Overall great app

I paid the in app fee for the dictionary but it will not download for me.

Has dictionary and translate (with speak) does not work offline. Does not identify masculine/feminine in french.

because as soon as i got the last update, the app doesnt even open anymore. it just shuts down after half a second and its a shame, because the dictionary was really great.

Just wasting time the free version

Will (apparently) do some simple written translations, as will a number of other free and/ or paid apps. However, virtually every option you select takes you to the crappy sales pitch for the "pro" version. If the basic app cant operate any cleaner than what I saw, I certainly am NOT going to waste money on a "pro" version of unknown quality. Save your time and money .... other much better apps exist.

This is a bad dictionary. It is not an offline dict like it says and it shows annoying ads every time you type a word in. Bad dictionary!!!

Now I can understand what my mom mostly says in spanish
